The Japanese love their cute characters so that we can associate with the brand. Here I think the character is called Echika – a strange squirrel mouse type thing. It represents a small shopping centre in Ikebukuro and Omotesando stations.
Went to a gallery in rainy Ginza today – it was very nicely laid out with the panels displayed over 3 sides of the room. The wooden floorboard is very, very creaky.
